This upcoming event is for fans of Maryland’s amazing seafood and folks who spend time out on the water. (I know we've got a ton of readers who enjoy fishing and crabbing on the Chesapeake Bay!)

The Maryland League of Conservation Voters is hosting a "Conservation Conversation", dedicated to the future of our state's fisheries - and they’re looking for community input!

Here is the scoop on why this matters and how you can get involved:

  * The Big Picture: Maryland’s identity is tied to our bounties—from blue crabs to striped bass and oysters. This discussion will explore how we can manage these populations sustainably and how factors like water quality and climate change are impacting our local aquatic life.
