As we begin 2014, we thank all of you for contributing to the strength of our last fiscal year (July 1, 2012 to June 30, 2013).
It was a year filled with many highlights and milestones. Exhibitions discovered new ways to look at art from several centuries ago, explored local artists past and present, and invited visitor participation.
Off the Wall brought the Walters' collection to the streets of Baltimore, Constellation Thursday Nights extended our Thursday hours into the evening, and nearly half of our visitors took part in our extensive educational programs. It was also a year of transition as we bid farewell to our long-time director, Gary Vikan, and welcomed our new executive director, Julia Marciari-Alexander.
Thank you as a visitor to the museum, supporter of our mission, and advocate for the essential role that this museum plays in the life of Baltimore and the world of museums. Your partnership has made this year possible. Read more about Fiscal Year 2013 in our
Annual Report.
