Safety first with this railroad hard hat equipped with 3 bright directional LED lights. Railroaders big and small will want one of these helmets for fun and protection while working on the railroad, even if it's just a model railroad! Adjustable, this helmet fits both children and adults. Light requires 3 AA batteries. Comes in assorted colors red, orange, blue, green, tan, white, yellow and hot pink with the B & O Railroad and speeding locomotives on each side. Railroad Fact of the Month

The B&O Railroad centennial celebration, The Fair of the Iron Horse, opening day was Saturday, September 24, 1927. Over 46,000 visitors passed through the festival's gates and daily attendance continued to increase, resulting in the extension of the Fair for an additional week.

Follow the musical adventures of the hip-hop singer, train station manager, Genevieve Goings, and her dancing, beatboxing engineer DC as they entertain kids while performing soulful and current renditions of the ABC's and 1-2-3's. To learn more about this educational entertainment show or to purchase tickets click here. Please note that the Museum is closed to public on this day; only event ticket holders permitted entrance one hour prior to show time.

Choo Choo Blue, the B&O Museum's mascot, makes a live appearance at this month's Toddler Time. Children listen to a classic railroad story, create a craft, enjoy playtime at Choo Choo Blue Kids Zone, and take a kiddie train ride through Choo Choo Blueville – all included with paid admission. Recommended for ages 2-5. All children programs begin promptly on-time.
